Parker Smith brings more than 11 years of experience in commercial real estate to JLAM. He leverages this knowledge to lead the investment team in the Carolinas, where he is responsible for developing investment strategies, conducting market research, and overseeing deal sourcing and execution.
Prior to joining JLAM, Parker worked at Grubb Properties in Charlotte, NC. There, he led the company’s East Coast investment strategies, focusing on multifamily development, value-add multifamily acquisitions, and value-add office acquisitions. Before his tenure at Grubb, Parker worked at AvalonBay Communities in Arlington, VA.
Parker grew up in Alexandria, VA and attended the University of Virginia, where received his Bachelor of Science in Finance. He also earned his Master’s in Business Administration from The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, with concentrations in Real Estate Finance and Development. Outside of work, Parkere enjoys traveling the world and playing pickleball & golf.
